Ball Park Review

WELCOME TO US CELLULAR FIELD

Chicago_White_Sox2

a/k/a The South Side.  In 2011 I visited Cellar field in Chicago with my family. Cellar field is the home of the Chicago white sox’s. The ballpark is cool but there is nothing special to it. When I walked in to the park you see a big gate. The big gate has pictures and you can see the white sox lineup and who they are playing. Then later on one walks around and heads to their seats, which were reasonably comfortable. The seats were nice but they were not with a cushion like a couch. The stadium is pretty nice and it is generally clean. The stadium is also green and bright which is one thing I like. The scoreboard is big and you are able to see it from anywhere. When I was in Chicago the Yankees were also playing which of course is something I liked. The food in Chicago was diffnelty not my favorite. Even though I don’t really care what the chicken nuggets mostly tasted like fish sticks at US Cellar. Blggh. Also while at US Cellar I got to interview A.J. Perzinki so I saw a lot of the behind the senses. When I interview I go there early and I saw all the hard work. I also got to look at the trophy they won in 2005. Even though A.J is known to be mean he was super nice and it was a great expernice. I also was young so I have ball that almost all the Yankees signed in fact it was an Arizona all-star game one. Since I was still elven at the time the kids zone was interesting but not my favorite park unlike Ethan. The kid’s zone was cool but you it was a throwing game and something else I can’t rember. The white sox’s also have a mascot named southpaw who my little brother got to meet especially because they were both lefties. One more funny thing that happened in Chicago was a drunk person sitting kind of near us. The drunk man was wherein a White Sox’s shirt but his friends were convening him he was a Yankees fan it was funny and the man was harmless. Also we meet some Irish fans and they were funny and passionate for the sox’s. It seems like there are some drunks but they are mainly fun and nice fans. Overall U.S Cellar field is a cool park but in my opion there would be no reason to got back and it is definitely not in my top five.

BALL PARK REVIEW

WELCOME TO MILLER PARK

Miller Park Marquee

The very first stop of our baseball trip was Miller Park. I was ten when we went. When we went it was 2011. I rember seeing the stadium for the very first time and there was something about it that I loved. Outside the stadium there was tailgating everywhere and it was like nothing I’ve ever seen before. It was car after car and grill after grill.  When we walked into Miller Park I had a big smile on my face and something felt right, that something clicked. I knew I was home, I knew baseball was my love and passion in life. The field is really nice and it was made for baseball. The field has the Brewers symbol on it behind home plate. We were sitting near the Brewers dugout and I got my first ball. The tickets are not too expensive at Miller Park and it was a great experience. It was really fun because we got to interact with the players and watch them up close. I also got to meet Bernie Brewer the Brewers loyal mascot. Bernie was cool and he is dressed like a man with a brewer’s shirt and a yellow mustache . Bernie also slides down the slide when the Brewers hit a home run, which was a lot between Ryan Braun and Prince Fielder. We also got to see the famous sausage race which was during the 4th inning. My favorite was the hot dog and he was the one I rooted for. I only rooted for the hotdog because he is the traditional baseball food and I didn’t really like any of them at the time.  Hotdog won once when I was in Milwaukee. Since I was only ten at the time I rember wanting to see what the kids zone was like and so did Ethan. We walked to it the middle of the game. We thought it was pretty cool. In the kids zone you could race Corey Hart I beat him once after three tries. Ethan and I also biked and raced sausages. I won against Ethan in that. I don’t also rember much from Miller Park because I was only ten. Although one thing I do rember is that it was a good stadium and that they had good fans. The atmosphere was great and lots of the fans seemed passionate or a little drunk from the tailgating. In Miller Park as far as food goes it good but I was not a huge foodie so I didn’t have a care for it. Although there is the five-sausage meal that Miller Park is famous for.  Miller Park has a special place in my heart and it was a great first stadium. Also if your in Milwaukee and headed to Miller Park  make sure to check out Kopps frozen custard, it is awesome.  If I were to rate Miller Park out of ten I would probably be an eight.  I think overall Miller Park is worth your time but it is not my favorite park but then again I cannot just choose one favorite.
